Kids Polymer Clay Series with Teri Walters: Glow in the Dark Light-switch Covers
March 2, Saturday, 10am-12pm
Jax Member $24 / General Public $29 / Deposit $10
Class Description:
By day, no one would suspect its powers to illuminate your handiwork, but come night time, it may look like it came from another world, for it glows in the dark. Stars, the moon or maybe your name, what will you want to show up on your switch plate when the lights go out at night? We will take a very dark color of clay, like black or purple, and cover you switch plate, add some cool textured designs with things like leather and cake decorating tools so it does not look boring, add some acrylic paint for a small splash of enhancement color and then to top it off, our glow in the dark embellishments, (that just means things). That is what will make it look so cool and “look back at ya” come night time. *Addition time could be needed for baking this project, so picking up the completed project later that day or a later time might be necessary.
